Week 22

                                                                                                                              March 30, 2015

Looking forward to Easter!

Hola Familia and Amigos!

So this week was a really tough week, because my companion got sick and couldn`t work for a few days. It was really hard to stay home, for me, but fortunately this week I was able to do divisions with the Sister Training Leader to be able to get some work done in our area. I also worked a little bit with Hermana Tate, who works in a different ward but lives in our house. We had a tough experience when we went to go pick up a member to go work with us, he told me he wanted to stop coming to church! I didn`t really believe him at first because he`s always joking about that sort of things. So this week we`ll be visiting him a lot to try to help him.

As I was reflecting on the difficulties we had this week on Sunday, I had a really sweet experience. We were in the family history class that we`re doing with the ward, and one of the sisters that we visited in the beginning of the week came to the class. She walked in and told us "I CAME!" because she wasn`t planning on coming because she`s an older lady and she`s afraid to walk in her neighborhood when it gets dark. We started her family history account and we were able to put in a lot of names! She told me that she lives alone and nobody visits her, but that when we came to her house on Wednesday she was super happy. She told us a lot of neat stories about her life and it really made my week to know that even though not a lot went right this week, we were still able to touch the heart of this sweet sister. It just goes to show that even through those hard times that we have, if you look for the good, you`ll find it.

Happy Easter! Remember the sacrifice of our Older Brother, who loves us So much more than we can comprehend. And give thanks that He lives, we can overcome anything that comes our way.
