Getting to Know the Artigas Heat
Dear Everyone,
So this week the heat definitely came
in! The type of heat when you put on SPF 50, walk outside, and you`re
already burning, haha. But it`s great! Fortunately this week most of the
people we visit came back from vacations. So we were able to see them!
We also received some really exciting news... next transfer we have a
special visitor coming to talk to us... Guess who`s coming down to
Uruguay? David A Bednar! I just found out a few minutes ago in a letter
from the mission president.
So we had some more
miracles this week! I had divisions here with another Brazilian
companion and we painted Hermana Bandeira`s house that got completely
flooded during the Christmas flooding, We got paint all over ourselves
but it was fun! Then we were out contacting and we had a great
experience with a woman named Celeste, at first she said that she didn`t
have time to talk with us but we shared the message of the Restoration
in less than 5 minutes and then she said we could come back on Saturday! It was incredible!
The ward has been have some difficulties with church attendance since it starts at 8:30
in the morning now, but we were so excited because this week Aly and
Antonio came to all three meetings for the first time! They looked
really tired and Aly said that Antonio dragged her by her arm, but they
had a really good experience and they`ve gotten to know a lot more
members now, their conversion has been so amazing to see.
I`m
so grateful to be a missionary here in Uruguay, it`s the best! Thank
you for all the love and support, this is the best experience of my
whole life! I love you all!
