Artigas Fire!
Dear Family,
Things are really heating up here in
Artigas! They told us that the other day it was 126 degrees... I´m not
sure if that´s true but I believe it! We had a lot of miracles this
week! It really builds my testimony that this is the Lord´s work, and
not mine.
One of the best experiences from this
week is that we got invited to a baptism in Brazil. Daniel, who was
baptized this Saturday, invited us because they came to our ward one day
when we gave talks and said that the talks really helped them. So the
condition to go to the baptism in Brazil was that we had to come with an
investigator. So we brought Aly and Antonio, who have progressed so
much! They just need to get married and then Aly can be baptized. They
have wedding plans for this Winter. They drove us to the baptism and it
was great! It turned out that they have cousins who go to that ward in
Brazil and they chatted a lot! I really feel this experience helped them
make this decision.
I´m so grateful for the
opportunity to be a missionary here in Artigas! I know that God loves
all of His children without bias! Alma 24:14 I love you all! Thank you
for all the support! Next P´-day we receive our changes, so I´ll talk to
you this Tuesday!
