Week 73 (17 months out, 1 month to go!!)

Learning to be Flexible

Dear Everyone,

Well, something strange has happened to my memory card so i`m going to try to send my pictures like this:

The first amazing event of the week was that I got to go to concilio! (Wait, did I tell you that I`m a sister training leader...?) It was an amazing experience, I know that the Lord has given me a great opportunity to learn how to be a leader, and work with amazing sisters that I`ve been learning to much from! Here`s a picture with all the other sister training leaders in the mission:

So after Concilio on Friday we had zone training and as a leader I got to participate in it. I was assigned to open and close the training, and in order to open it I had to show everyone the new mission yell, I was really nervous about yelling but I did it!!! It wasn`t too loud, but it was my yell, haha! I was also able to end the training with a scriptural message about how every day we need to think, "what more can I do?" This is what I`ve been striving to apply in the time I have left here, and it really makes me a happier and more focused missionary. What more can I do? I can knock one more door, stop one more person on the street...etc. Here`s a picture of one of the first days in cold weather gear!
This Thursday the branch celebrated the anniversary of the relief society and after we left the activity the district leader called to tell us that we had to travel to Colonia that night because there was going to be a bus strike on Friday. So I checked the schedule and the last bus that left that night was going to leave in 8 minutes! We ran around and we actually made the bus and we only forgot a few things like my name tag. After the zone training in Colonia the Assistants to the President drove us back to our area. It was an adventurous week!!

I just want to say that I love you all and I`m so grateful for this chance I have to serve, to learn and to grow. Thank you for everything!

Love, Hermana Autery
