Hard Work Payed Off
Dear Everyone,
So this week was a super crazy week
for me, it was the most eventful transfer day I`ve ever had! I had five
different companions during the same day and we almost didn`t make it to
the radial in time to pick up my new companion, but the Lord provides
and now I have my new companion! Her name is Hermana Diaz, she is from
Trujillo, Peru and she has 4 months in the mission. She came her at the
same time as my last two companions.
We`ve been
contacting a lot of people and inviting everyone to church for as long
as I`ve been here, and the Lord has been blessing us! This week we found
an old investigador named Oscar Sanchez. He received the lessons about a
year ago but he wasn`t ready then. But now he`s ready! His girlfriend
is Ana, and she`s a member but has been inactive for more than ten
years, but this week they both came to church and they loved it! All the
members we talking to them and getting to know them, a few had already
met them. Oscar accepted the invitation to be baptized! He said that he
always has thought to himself, "if I ever get baptized, I`d do it in the
Mormon church." He said it was because they live for the Gospel.
Because the missionaries are out there walking rain, shine, snow, or
storms. So that`s a message to you missionaries! Sometimes you`ll be out
in a storm and it will seem like nobody will listen to what you have to
say, but keep going, because there`s someone watching, and maybe those
blessings won`t be reaped that day or transfer, but they will be reaped.
And that`s the Lord`s work. He does it one by one.
So
that story explains one of the pictures below. Also below there is a
chocolate Easter egg, this is what adults give to children on Easter!
It`s a huge hollow egg with little candies inside! You have to break it
open and eat the pieces! Hermana Alba got us one!
Well, I love you all and am so grateful for the support I have received from you all. Have an amazing week!
