New Years was so cool here in
Uruguay! Earlier in the day we went to a retirement home to sing, and
then we greeted all of the residents individually. After that, 3 other
sisters and I went to go eat at a member`s house, and it was super
delicious! After that all of the sisters in the zone met up and we
stayed in a vacation house and watched the fireworks from a really tall
building! The elders were staying in a different room, but we could all
see each other from our balconies.
This week
half of our investigators came to church! It was great, I could see them
tearing up a little bit during the fast and testimony meeting. At one
point they were trying to dare each other to go give their testimonies,
but then there ended up not being enough time :) haha. I`m looking forward to
their baptism this month! It`s been such a blessing to be a part of
this change in their lives. They`re so much happier now, and they always
are really excited for our next appointment.
I
had Divisions for the first time this week! I left with one sister in
the morning and then her companion in the afternoon. Needless to say, I
got lost with both Sisters... but it`s okay, because we ended up
contacting a lot of people along the way, and still made it to our
appointments (even if we were a little bit late)! I was able to teach a
lot more than usual, so I had a lot more energy, and I felt like I was
able to help a lot more people. It was super amazing, even though I
still have a lot more to learn :)
Today we had a water activity with the zone, it was fun, but I`m still super wet right now! Haha :)
I
want to share my testimony with everyone that faith is so vital. When
we have faith, we have so much more peace and comfort in our lives.
Keep nourishing your faith! Enduring to the end sounds super easy, but
actually it means keep doing all the little things to maintain your
faith: praying, reading the scriptures, and going to church and so on.
Life is so much better when you know the Lord is always on your side,
lifting you up when you fall down!
Love you!

Still waiting for her to get our package so that she can upload the pictures she's been taking.
Cant wait to see more pictures!!!! Paige says that the other set of sister missionaries that were living with them in the house have moved out so that they could move closer to the chapel they attend. So its just her and her companion in the house for now. :) She wants to help her companion learn English so she wants me to send her the hymns in English. :)
