Paige's Missionary Experience: Week 28

Talent Shows and Mothers day!

This week was a little tougher because not a lot of people received us, but it was also really great because we were able to have a talent show with the two wards here in Fray Bentos. One of the members was running the show and he wanted us to dance in it, so we did a short dance and the zone leaders danced to N-Sync which was really funny. We also taught all the youth the cotton-eye Joe line dance! It was also amazing to see my family on Skype! Even if I didn`t get to say half of the things I wanted to, you`re all just so beautiful!

So this might sound like a familiar story because it happened in Paysandù, but we invited one of our investigators to baptism and she said she was already baptized! We found her old records in the other ward, she`s been inactive for about 40 years, but now she`s gaining interest again! She is truly sensitive to the Spirit, and it`s still really wonderful to be able to reintroduce her to the gospel.

I can`t believe the transfers are coming soon! I`ve loved working with Hermana Olson so much, we work as a team and she`s helped me learn a lot. And recently people keep asking if we`re twins. I`m so grateful for this time that I`ve had to work with her! Recently in my studies I read 2 Nephi 32, and it really hit me how powerful the simple little truths can be. If we ever feel like we don`t know what we need to do, all we need to do is read 2 Nephi and it will tell us what to do. Some things are just so simple but so esencial!

It was Fantastic Skyping with Paige on Mother's Day! She and her companion sang us a song in Spanish. We got to meet the family that let her skype from their home, as well as a boars head.;) They showed us a video from their ward talent show. Paige and her companion did a routine to the song 'Everything is Awesome' from the Lego Movie. They walked around on stage like lego people. Did a small dance routine. Carried in large legos(boxes) and stacked them together. When they turned it around it said Feliz Dia Mama.(Happy Mothers Day). Paige is doing really good. She looks so happy!
