Week 50

October 12, 2015

A crazy week!

Dear Everyone,
Well you know when things are all going really well and then all of the sudden there are a few little obstacles in your path to help you grow? I feel like that`s what happened this week. There were some challenges to get through but everything is for our benefit!
So this week we had a conference with the president and three different zones, Artigas, Rivera and Tacuarembò. It was a great conference! We were able to receive some new guidance on our weekly planning. I was also to see some missionaries I haven`t seen for a while, it was great to catch up with them!
Remember on Sunday when I fell down? This week my foot started swelling and the mission doctor told me I had sprained it, so she told me to take an anti-inflammatory pill. I took one and then had an allergic reaction! So she sent me to the hospital here in Artigas. They gave me an injection for the allergic reaction and looked at my foot and everything is pretty healed up now, so don`t worry! I just got to watch my step! It was just a really crazy day!
This week a miracle happened!  On Sunday a new couple came to church that we had never seen before, so we talked to them. The husband is a convert from 5 years ago who used to live in Montevideo and his wife isn`t a member. The husband, Antonio, had been inactive but after about two years he decided to come back. He actually stood up to give a testimony and blew everyone away. He testified that no matter how many mistakes you make or how many times you rejected the Lord in your life, He is always willing to take you back. Antonio said he had fallen off the path, but that Christ was always there for him. His testimony really touched me, we were able to have a lesson with him and his wife after church and I really feel that Aly (his wife) will progress and be baptized, so that she and her husband can have an eternal family!
I testify that it doesn`t matter to the Lord how many times we fall down or how many mistakes we make.  What matters to Him is how many times you get back up. He is always waiting for you to come back to him. His hand is extended all day for you!
Thank you so much for all the support! Sorry, I won`t be able to send pictures this week because the computer here did something to my memory card... but hopefully next week I can send some more! I love you all!
