Paige's Missionary Experience: Week 55 (Re-posting)

***Sorry when I first posted week 55 blogger messed it up. So that is why week 55 and 56 are out of order.

Miracles in Artigas

Dear Everyone,

I have been privileged to see so many of the Lord`s miracles this week! The Lord brought 7 of our investigadors to church this week and inactive members as well!

We had an amazing lesson this week with Aly and Antonio, we had the lesson on the law of chastity to help them make the decision to get married our separated. I was a little worried that they would want to stop listening to us because this would be a huge change in their lives, but we left them with the commitment to pray to know whether they should get married or live apart. This week at church we gave Antonio a HLJ ring (CTR ring) to give to Aly and she left church wearing it! So we`ll have to wait for the next lesson to know if they`ve made an official decision.

This week I learned a lot about thoughts. They are a lot more essential than I thought! As we read in Mosiah 4:30, we need to watch our thoughts as well as everything we do. The guide to the scriptures says that our thoughts will either lead us to eternal life, our condemn us. Thoughts lead to actions, and so worthy thoughts will lead to a worthy lifestyle. For this reason we have receive inspired direction like Ponderizing to bring our thoughts to a higher level when our thoughts get lead astray. Do as the Lord says in Doctrine and Covenants, "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not."
