Busque lo bueno
Dear Everyone,
The miracles continue this week!
We share a house and a chapel with the sisters from Barrio 1, and this Saturday
they had a baptism, a woman who is part of the family that our mission
president baptized when he was here as a missionary. So she asked
President Smith if he could come to Artigas to baptize her, and he
accepted! So we really wanted to invite all of our investigadores to
come with us to the baptismal service, and every single one couldn´t
come. Finally we decided to go and find Blanca, who takes care of the
Bueno Sisters and has received just a few lessons. We went to their
house and invited Blanca and she agreed to come! We just needed someone
to take care of the Sisters Bueno while we were gone and we called the
sisters in our ward and nobody could come. Vivaldina Bueno was being
grumpy as always and she said that nobody needed to come to take care of
them, it was just an hour. They let us go and we made them promise to
be good while we were gone.
The baptism was
amazing! Blanca loved it! And when we returned to their house,
Vivaldina, told us, "why didn´t you tell me that president Smith was
here? I served him lunch when he was a missionary here!" So we sent
president a message to see if he could stop by and say hello. He asked
us where we were and he came! He gave Edelmira and blessing of comfort
because she broke her hip a few weeks ago and talked a little with
Blanca and asked when she was getting baptized. She said she didn´t know
yet but asked if he could baptize her, and president said that he would
arrange things if that´s what she wanted. After President left she
accepted a baptismal date of 19 of December! It was incredible!
I
love you all and I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to
see all these miracles that occur in the Lord´s work! I know that serving a mission is the best choice that I´ve ever made in my life!
Thank you so much for the support! I now that the church is true and God
exists and that Christ guides this work. 2 Nephi 11:7 And It´s the
best!

Paige: You´ll have to send me the prices of the contents and mailing fee, in
the order of the packages that were sent, because i won´t know which
package is which :) I´m glad you liked my card! I sent one for dad too
but I think it will get there late. I love you so much! I know that you
can get through this week!! Hermana Silva is not like I was when I was
oro, she´s super crazy sometimes, haha! she talks a lot :D but it´s
great, she wants to have lots of baptisms :P
