Christmas with my hija!
Dear Everyone,
So
I`ll start off saying that for this transfer I`m going to stay here in
Artigas with Hermana Silva! We`re going to spend the Summer together
here in the hottest part of Uruguay! Woohoo!
This
week we had really high humidity, so that was rough, but then a huge
storm came in and it was the first storm Hermana Silva has seen in
Uruguay, so she got really scared, but then she learned that storms are
normal. Unfortunately it was Saturday night and so not very many people came to church this week, so we had to change Blanca`s Baptism date for the 2 of January,
but we`re sure this date will finally go through! The first baptism of
the New Year! Blanca is so excited to be baptized, her story is a
miracle. the Bueno sisters have been teaching with us in the lessons,
which is hilarious because they`re so old and sometimes they don`t teach
true doctrine and we have to cut them off a little bit, haha. But they
are amazing.
I wanted to share this week a
scripture from Words of Mormon 1:7. I loved this scripture this week!
Trust in the Lord and He will guide you. I know that He is in charge of
this work, and not me. I love the Gospel and I know it`s true.
